About
Kevin Orduño

Based in the Southwest US, I’m an international award-winning, multi-disciplinary, multilingual, multi-hyphenate, and multicultural actor and creative with a big heart, big ideas, and a big mouth (this last part is according to my brother). I’m absolutely passionate about the power of Story to touch, impact, and transform lives, and I dig deep into communication, narrative, and expression in all of its forms.

From classical theatre to classic rock, podcasts to poetry, branding to Marlon Brando, I’m obsessed with falling deeper into the rabbit hole of Story. I’ve written award-winning haikus, sang in Melodrama dinner theatre to standing ovations, won business communication competitions, and composed original musicals for the Grim Reapers.

I’m insatiably in love with stories - whether they’re plays, books, musicals, games, etc. I care that there are things worth sharing, things that deserve to be told, and things that need to be heard. There are people out there without voices or words who need someone to speak up on their behalf; likewise, there are people out there without awareness of things that could change their life. They all need effective communicators, orators, teachers - all storytellers by another name. I am one of these storytellers.

I am here - impassioned, skilled, and gritty. And, I look forward to partnering with you somehow. Look, I think you get the point; I know you’re smart. Thank you for making it this far!

Outside of my theatrical roles, I’m showrunning a Tucson-based TTRPG actual play show called EPICS OF EPOCHS, writing the official musical adaptation of Ryan O’Neal’s Sleeping At Last: Atlas project, starring in my own upcoming horror podcast, and helping transform the Southern Arizona performing arts community for the better through my involvement with KOSO Theatre Collective, Old Tucson, Arts Express Theatre, the Tucson Symphony, and more.

Please reach out for any inquiries - projects, offers, questions, or just to chat!
